British artist Mr. Doodle is a remarkable artist with more than 2.69 million followers on Instagram. "Doodle" means "scribble," and when he was a kid, he used to " Doodle" everywhere in his house, from textbooks to his parents' furniture. He calls himself Mr. Doodle because of his "Doodle" style, he draws the characters and symbols with charming expressions one by one with thick lines using his own pen. He tries to create a style that anyone can "easy-to-understand", and his work is as detailed as a puzzle that fills the void, but at first glance, the memorable design and pop world are of all ages. It attracts the hearts of various people regardless. In this auction, two works by Mr. Doodle, who has quickly become a popular artist beyond the boundaries of the art industry, including collaborations with fashion brands, will be exhibited. Lot.016 "Summer" is one of the "Four Seasons" series produced in early 2019. The 220.0 x 410.0 cm size is Mr. Doodle's largest ever work on the auction market. A number of summer scenes such as ice cream, the sun, flowers, and swimmers were drawn on the screen. This work, along with "Autumn," is depicted in the brightest colors of the series, while the first and last works, "Spring" and "Winter," give a more subdued impression. In this way, the cycle of the four seasons is composed of a rhythm in which lively scenes surround more calm scenes, like musical works. Lot. 017 "BUSY BUSINESS" is a work exhibited at Mr. Doodle's first solo exhibition in Japan "MR DOODLE! 2019" in 2019. With a pink background, the golden magic depicts the scenes of the people who work with each other. Everything and people in the office drawn on the screen are expressed with a smile, and the vivid and lovely style of painting is a work full of charm that instantly brightens the feelings and space of the viewer. Mr. Doodle's work began to appear at auction in April 2020, his acrylic paintings, prints, figures are popular and continues to update the high bid price. It is expected that this young artist will be more active in art market in the future.
