“AI Dreams of the Eyes of Its Creator” is a new series developed by an advanced AI model trained on Marc Quinn’s art. Tasked with imagining human eyes based on 100 of Quinn's oil on canvas iris paintings, the AI created 'possible human irises'—hallucinatory visions dreamed by the model. Marc Quinn has handpicked just 8 editions from a vast array of AI-generated images, focusing on their composition and aesthetics. This process mirrors evolution, where random variations are refined and selected over time to create successful adaptations. The series explores whether, in dreaming of the eyes of its creator, AI is constructing its own creation story and mythology.
